Taro FujiwaraPresident / Music Supervisor / Producer

Born in Minato-ku, and currently residing in Nakano-ku, Tokyo, Taro Fujiwara traveled to the US in 1990 to study music theory and art at Washington State University.
In 1992, he began studying music engineering, music business, and music editing at the Institute of Audio Research in New York. Upon graduation, he continuing living in New York working as an artist, producer, and as a DJ specializing in R&B and Motown dance mixes.
Upon returning to Japan in 2002, he began work as a freelance music supervisor and music arranger.
Since then, he has been involved in numerous productions for commercials, websites, sound design, VR works, brand logos, movies, and other video/art works in the Japanese music industry.

In 2011, Fujiwara established BISHOP MUSIC in order to further improve the quality of his music production, putting his efforts into creating the best possible “sounds” on a daily basis. He has a proven track record of producing high-quality works with professional artists, writers, and performers regardless of genre, both in Japan and overseas.

Michinobu TakaradaMusic Supervisor / Producer / Composer / DJ

Michinobu Takarada was born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and graduated from Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design in 2001.
In 2002, he began activities as a DJ, performing at parties in both Yokohama and Tokyo, as well as music events, festivals, and other venues across Japan.
In 2004, he began work in A&R and as a promoter for the independent music label [ROMZ RECORD], that has given great influence to many musicians who are currently active in the music industry even today. He would also constantly release his own works, such as DJ mixes, compilations, and remixes.
In 2010, in parallel with his DJ and label activities, he also began to engage in music supervision for commercials.

In 2013, Takarada joined BISHOP MUSIC, and by utilizing his abundant knowledge and experience, along with his extensive network, he continues to work as a music supervisor/producer for TV commercials and various media content.

Kai IshikawaMusic Supervisor / Producer / DJ

Kai Ishikawa was born in Kichijoji, Musashino City, Tokyo, and graduated from Keio University, School of Economics.
In his college years, he began his career as a DJ and organizing events.
He has since then also released music as both a track maker and remixer; coordinating and performing at music events in Japan, as well as in the US and other parts of Asia.
In addition to releasing numerous DJ mixes, he has also produced/arranged music for movies, commercials, TV shows, and video games.
While working on soundtracks for movies and video games, he decided to partake in the production of music and sound effects for an acclaimed video game company. There, a soundtrack album which he directed placed first in the Oricon Daily Chart and fourth place in the Oricon Weekly Chart.

In 2016, Ishikawa joined BISHOP MUSIC, seeking the opportunity to produce even more creative works, making full use of his knowledge and experiences.

Namiko MoriMusic Supervisor / Producer / Composer

Namiko Mori is a classically trained keyboardist/pianist since childhood. In her teen years, she began playing drums and found interest in Punk/Rock music, writing songs and arrangements for band music.
Eventually studying audio engineering at the Nihon Kougakuin Institute, and being involved with a local music studio in Japan, she learned DAW skills and began producing her own musical works.
In 2010, she enrolled into Dartington Music School, honing her ability to write classical music.
She then proceeded to study film scoring at UCLA, being awarded the BMI/Jerry Goldsmith Scholarship in 2014.
She was also elected to be a mentor for the SCL Mentor Program in 2015, one of the most popular educational programs for composers in Los Angeles and New York, supported by Disney Scoring Stage and Remote Control Studios. She has since then composed scores for independent films, some which have been selected by the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2018, Mori joined BISHOP MUSIC in order to pursue the highest level of music production, and to expand her creativity through a talented team.

Hirotaka TeiMusic Supervisor / Producer / Composer

Born in Kansai, Hirotaka Tei grew up surrounded by music while moving from place to place in Japan.
He began playing the guitar in middle school, and was active as a guitarist for about 10 years in various genres such as rock, math-rock, shoegazer, and R&B. He eventually graduated from Kansai University, Faculty of Economics.
He later began his career as a DJ / track maker, as well as an organizer for club events in Tokyo which featured music, film, fashion, and other cross-cultural elements. At the same time, he also found the opportunity to work in sound engineering, including mixing and mastering music for various artists.
As a composer, he has provided music for visual content such as stage performances, commercials, and film.

In 2022, Tei joined BISHOP MUSIC with the interest in collaboration between visual works and music, desiring to contribute to these collaborations through music supervision and production.

Takehiro OnoMusic Supervisor / Producer / Composer / Guitarist

Born in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Takehiro Ono began playing guitar at the age of 15 and continues his activities as a guitarist today.
In 2016, he formed the rock band, "Attractions," where he both composed and played guitar for the band. In 2018, he made his major debut through Victor Entertainment. He performed at many domestic and international music festivals including South by Southwest and the SUMMER SONIC FESTIVAL.
In 2021, he took a break from "Attractions," and began activities as an individual musician, providing songs and producing for other artists, occasionally being involved as a support guitarist.

In 2022, Ono joined BISHOP MUSIC in order to expand his creative possibilities, making the most of his skill set.
He continually creates music featuring both originality and familiarity in various genres.
His hobbies include watching martial arts and drinking.

Tadashi MatsumotoChief Manager / Sound Designer

Born in 1991 in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, Tadashi Matsumoto was influenced by the active band scene in his hometown. In middle school, he began playing instruments and would both write music and perform for bands. Later on, he taught himself how to compose music through the use of DAWs, and during his time at university, he was active as a track maker and as a DJ for electronic music.
In 2013, he worked for a major CD distribution company. With his wide range of musical tastes, he was in charge of sales promotion for all genres of media; both Western and Japanese music, movies, and anime.
During his time there, while deepening his knowledge of music and film, he also had the opportunity to coordinate the album production for a hip-hop group.

In 2019, Matsumoto joined BISHOP MUSIC, and by working along experienced producers, he is involved in composing, editing, and licensing music. He also specializes in creating sound effects for various media content. Utilizing both his musical knowledge and the sound design techniques which he has acquired throughout the years, he strives to breathe new life into many creative projects.
